Jeff is great, venue is questionable.

Jeff is phenomenal. This was my 5th time seeing him live and he never disappoints. This particular tour left me crying laughing through the whole show. Perfection! One complaint that I'm not sure if it falls on Jeff or the venues is the merchandise table. I've seen this tour twice and both times it was virtually impossible to get to the merchandise tables. I don't mind a line but this issue is that there wasn't a line. Just a massive sea of people with no clear indication of where the line(s) were. Both times I tried to find a line to get in but with people swarming from every direction it was impossible. This could be easily remedied by some stantions clearly dividing the lines and people. There just needs to be some amount of control here. Sales were definitely lost at both shows due to this. On the venue itself, well, they had a night. While it was absolutely not their fault the power went out I'm a bit stunned they chose to run concessions and seat people in a pitch black building. There were a lot of stairs to navigate, it was difficult to find areas (can't see signs in the dark, no ushers to help) and I felt my aging mother could have easily been hurt, fallen, etc. I feel letting people into a completely dark building was a very poor decision. I will admit I was one of those standing outside waiting with a storm threatening us so I appreciated being allowed in, but I do feel it was dangerous. I do appreciate not canceling the show because we had drive over 3 hours to get there, but it was frustrating. There really wasn't a win to be had. Thankfully Jeff was amazing, as always, and even got some material from the predicament.
